At Trinity New York, our mission is simple: we lead people to follow Jesus and build His church, because Jesus changes everything. That change begins within us, reshaping our hearts, our families, and ultimately our city. Our vision is to build a diverse, Spirit-filled, life-giving church that helps people belong, become, and build for God’s kingdom. No matter your story or background, there’s a place for you here as we follow Jesus and transform New York together.

Jesus Is Our Message
We BELONG to Jesus, aim to BECOME like Jesus and live to BUILD for Jesus. We’ve been changed by Jesus and work to bring a change in our world. We are Jesus people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, but our message will stay the same. Jesus Changes Everything.
People Are Our Heart
Our heart is for ALL people because ALL people are loved by God. People should feel seen, valued and believed-in. We are specifically focused on reaching those who are far from God. We do life together. Church isn’t an event we go to, it’s a community we belong to.
Generosity Is Our Privilege
Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We are generous with our time, talent and treasure. We give joyfully, not reluctantly. We put God first in our giving. We contribute to the mission of our local church. God has given richly towards us, it is our privilege to give back to Him.
Excellence Is Our Spirit
We are always going to do the best with what we have. Excellence is a pursuit not a place. We are constantly growing, improving and making it better. We are on time, engaged and prepared. We offer our work as worship unto God. In all that we do, we are going to do it to the best of our ability. Love is in the details.
Servant Leadership Is Our Identity
We believe the greatest form of leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. Serving isn’t just what we do, but Servant Leaders are who we are. From the sidewalk to the stage, everyone serves. We serve on many teams, but we have one heart. There are many roles, but one mission. If you’re too big to serve then you are too small to lead.
Honor Is Our Calling
We are vocal with our honor, meaning we are generous with our words. We submit to leadership and are thankful for spiritual authority. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us. We honor and care for those God has placed under us.
Passion Is Our Pursuit
Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit Energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church. We are leaned in, joyful and ready to build His church. We get to do this!
Our Pastors
Taylor and Kristen Wilkerson serve as the Lead Pastors of Trinity New York. They moved to NYC in 2016 after sensing a clear call from God to pastor Glad Tidings Tabernacle, one of the city’s historic churches. What began as a step of faith quickly grew into a vision to build a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church for a new generation—what is now Trinity New York.
Taylor and Kristen met while studying church leadership and theology at Southeastern University, later continuing their ministry preparation as Taylor earned his master’s degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Both come from families deeply rooted in ministry—Taylor is a fourth-generation pastor on both sides of his family, and Kristen comes from a long line of church planters. Their spiritual heritage also ties directly to New York through Taylor’s uncle, David Wilkerson, founder of Times Square Church and Teen Challenge.
Together, they lead with authenticity, humility, and a deep love for people. They live in New York City with their five children and are committed to building a church that helps people follow Jesus and brings hope to our city.
What We Believe
At Trinity New York, we are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled church rooted in the historic Christian faith and aligned with the Apostles’ Creed and the Assemblies of God’s 16 Fundamental Truths. Our beliefs are centered on Jesus, grounded in Scripture, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Changes Everything
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior, and the only way to true life and transformation. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we receive salvation, forgiveness, and new life.
The Bible Is Our Foundation
We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and authoritative for faith, life, and practice.
The Holy Spirit Empowers Us
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us to live, love, witness, and serve with boldness. We welcome His gifts, His presence, and His power in our daily lives.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe people are saved by grace through faith in Jesus — not by our own effort — and that following Him is a lifelong journey of transformation.
The Church Is God’s Plan for the World
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, serve one another, make disciples, and bring hope to the world.
Water Baptism & Communion
We practice water baptism by immersion and celebrate Communion as powerful symbols of our faith and life in Christ.
A Spirit-Filled Life
We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, including Spirit baptism and the gifts of the Spirit for today.
Hope for the Future
We believe Jesus will return, that there will be a final resurrection, and that God will make all things new.

Our services are energetic, Spirit-filled, practical, and centered on Jesus. You’ll experience powerful worship, a biblical message, and a warm, diverse community.
What should I wear?
NYC casual. Come as you are.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes! Trinity Kids is a fun, safe, clean environment for children to learn about Jesus and build friendships.
How long is service?
About 75–90 minutes.
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
Not at all. Many people in our church are exploring faith or returning to church for the first time in years.
How do I get connected?
Attend a service, visit the Connect Corner afterward, or join a Family Dinner.
Where do you meet?
